Running Causes Acne?

Wow. For some reason this idea has been popping up lately. This myth that running causes acne. And usually back acne. Let me address this as I have some experience as a runner and as one who has had his fair share of acne. I played soccer for 12 years growing up from 6 until I was 18, and I can safely say that whether it was in season or out, I had acne always. Would it worsen in season? I don’t recall this happening at all. However, I was also getting a lot of sun, especially right before school started with long soccer practices starting like 6 weeks out before school started every year in high school. But early on when I first started getting acne at age 10 or 11 as I remember, this had no bearing on acne. The only thing that made a huge difference was when we started using Its Pure Soap… this made a HUGE difference. You all need to try it!

Naturally you can’ t expect to get rid of your acne in just a few days; natural treatments take a little time to work; but if you’ re persistent, you’ ll get skin free of pimples and blemishes without the serious side effects that you find in commercial acne medicines.

The notion that acne is caused by running is laughable. If a runner is suffering from back acne, they must take into consideration that their lotion, body soap, or even laundry detergent could be the culprit.

Running isn’t the cause of acne, its the sweat which open your pores that collect dirt and when they clogs up, this causes acne. I have been making home made soap for awhile now and the lye in the soap has help reduce ance but this is base only on first hand experience.

I strongly suggest oatmeal and honey. Get regular flavored oatmeal and microwave it, then mix in honey. Rub it on your face and leave it on for 15 mins. then rinse with cold water. i promise you’ll see immediate results. And your skin won’t be irritated or anything. Don’t use any soap or cleansers. The facial mask will do the job of cleaning your face.
