Running Causes Acne?
Sunday, January 6th, 2008Wow. For some reason this idea has been popping up lately. This myth that running causes acne. And usually back acne. Let me address this as I have some experience as a runner and as one who has had his fair share of acne. I played soccer for 12 years growing up from 6 until I was 18, and I can safely say that whether it was in season or out, I had acne always. Would it worsen in season? I don’t recall this happening at all. However, I was also getting a lot of sun, especially right before school started with long soccer practices starting like 6 weeks out before school started every year in high school. But early on when I first started getting acne at age 10 or 11 as I remember, this had no bearing on acne. The only thing that made a huge difference was when we started using Its Pure Soap… this made a HUGE difference. You all need to try it!
